Win AP and rare items! The Florensia Staff would like to invite you to show us your creativity before the summerly heat totally finishes you off. On July 21, 2008, Florensia officially opened the gates to its fantastic world and thousands of adventurers swore to defeat all evil. Let us all celebrate together at the end of July (including a new game update for guilds, but we will tell you more about that at a later date!), so send us your birthday cakes, videos and fan art to win great rewards!



Most important: the rewards

All participants whose entries will be accepted and who will be named on the website will receive a package of consumable items including EXP potions and other useful power-ups. This time, you will even be able to grab the items yourselves on our website! We are currently working on a gift voucher system which will be introduced during the anniversary celebration.

Depending on the number of accepted entries, the best quarter of each category will receive a headgear or headmount of choice from a predetermined selection. This headgear or headmount will be limited to 30 days.

The ranks 1 to 5 will furthermore be awarded with the following gifts:

• 1st place of each category: 28,000 AP + 30 BP worth in total 50 $ for each person, an unlimited headgear or headmount or robe of choice
• 2nd place of each category: 14,000 AP + 15 BP worth in total 25 $ for each person, an unlimited headgear or headmount of choice
• 3rd place of each category: 10,300 AP worth in total 18 $ for each person, an unlimited headgear of choice
• 4th and 5th place of each category: 5,700 AP worth in total 10 $ for each person

Part 1 - A birthday party needs a birthday cake

Watch out, future pastry chefs leisure time bakers! The Florensia Staff is looking for the most delicious and most pretty birthday cakes. Create a unique cake (or tart), take some pictures of your fantastic creation and send us the pictures along with the recipe to your birthday cake!

Baking a cake may not sound like a great challenge, but please be aware of the fact that we have some experienced bakers in our Event Team who will bake and judge the cakes for their taste. The pictures of your cakes and the comprehensibility of your recipes will also be evaluated, so adding some decoration (maybe even a marzipan monster) will surely boost your scores.

How to submit a birthday cake photo and recipe

Please send us a ticket to the department "Contests" including the following information:

• Subject: Florensia Anniversary Contest - Cake
• Your desired nickname (if you don't include your desired nickname, we will take the name displayed in the ticket system)
• The recipe to your cake or tart including detailed instructions how to create the cake (either as text included in the ticket or as attachment in the following formats: *.txt, *.rtf, *.doc, *.pdf, not exceeding 2MB)
• The photo(s) taken of your cake (one cake per person, up to three pictures in the following formats: *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.png, *.gif, *.bmp, not exceeding 5MB)

In the end, all photos will be added to the Florensia Flickr group with reference to the author.

Part 2 - Show us your video memories on YouTube

One year in the world of Florensia, that's a lot of precious moments full of adventures, fights, love and excitement. Grab your friends and create a video that shows what you have experienced in the world of Florensia, what you like in Florensia or how you are celebrating the first anniversary in the game.

We want to see everything related to your adventures in Florensia. Please make sure to add some birthday wishes for Florensia to the video. Screenshots within a video or a well-done video composed of screenshots will also be accepted. However, videos that only show one specific scenario or that do not refer to the anniversary of Florensia will not be accepted.

How to submit a birthday video

Please upload your video to the Florensia YouTube group. Make sure the title of the video contains the word "Anniversary" (equal for all languages).

Afterwards, please send us a ticket to the department "Contests" including the following information:

• Subject: Florensia Anniversary Contest - Video
• Your desired nickname (if you don't include your desired nickname, we will take the name displayed in the ticket system)
• The link to your video on YouTube (one video per person will be accepted, maximum duration: 5 minutes)

Part 3 - Swing the paper and pencils: Birthday fan art

Yes, we love Florensia fan art! So the third possibility how to participate in the Anniversary contest will be to draw a picture related to Florensia and the birthday party for the first anniversary of Florensia. How about Serbetus wearing a party hat? Lanoir stealing some tasty cake and Lord Robinson rocking in Roxbury?

Both digital and traditional artworks will be accepted. Screenshot edits or graphics that do not include any self-made drawings will not be accepted.

How to submit birthday fan art

Please send us a ticket to the department "Contests" including the following information:

• Subject: Florensia Anniversary Contest - Fan Art
• Your desired nickname (if you don't include your desired nickname, we will take the name displayed in the ticket system)
• Your fan art picture (one picture per person, not exceeding 3MB)

In the end, all pictures will be added to the Florensia deviantART page with reference to the author.

Additional information

During the Spring Art contest, we received several tickets from players whose accounts had been banned and who were asking us to deliver the rewards to their new accounts. Please note that we will not consider these requests for the Anniversary contest.

Every player can participate in all three categories, but every participant will only be able to win in one category. One submission (one ticket) for each category will be accepted. If you send us more than one ticket with submissions for one or more of the categories, the most recent submission for each category will be accepted.

Please make sure you only submit your own creations! Plagiarized, fake, stolen, discriminating, offending, insulting, sexual or racist contents will be disqualified. The Florensia Staff reserves the right to sort out entries that have been created without any effort.
