How to create an own ship
To build an own ship, you have to go to the owner of the dockyard. You can find on the mini map - it's the guy with the little ship symbol. ![]() As soon as you have reached him, you should talk to him! If you do not own any ship parts yet, you will first have to buy the right parts for your ship. Depending on your Sea-Level, there are parts you definetly need to sail with your ship and parts you can buy, but which are not absolutely neccessary. The shopping: First you should decide, which ship you want to build, as you will only be able to build two ships at the beginning. You can choose between the following 5 classes:
![]() You can also only equip your ship with parts fitting to your current Sea-Level. Depending on your Sea Level, you will absolutely need the following parts: Sea-Lvl 1-14 (small ship): Frame / Body Main mast ! Attention! You have to mind the way you would like to sail!
Sea-LvL 15 - 41 (middle sized ship): Frame / Body - provides DP (Healthpoints) Bow - provides DP Foremast - enables to sail faster Main mast - enables to sail !Attention! When you change from small to middle ship, you have to mind that you cannot install the parts for the small ship on your middle ship! These ships parts can, but do not have to be equipped:
Now that you got your parts for your ship, you can start building. Click on "Docks" now to enter them. ![]() Now you can see your dock which is kind of empty at the moment.
General information to what you can see in your dock:
This guide is about teaching you everything that is important for you to level on Sea.
Before we start, we should do some preparations.
Example: A = 1 ; B+ = 2 ; ... ![]() There is still something you should think of! The better the chosen crew is, the better the food has to be. A good crew of course takes the bad food, but this food will just keep up their present situation and not improve it. (I will come back to the situations later) As soon as you have equipped the food, it will automatically be consumed by the crew on the sea, so you do not have to give them new food all the time. If you travel on shore, they will not consume any food. Now let’s start with the main part: After having talked tot he Harbour Manager and clicked on the button, you will be directed to your ship. There you can choose the ship you want to travel with in the slot bar on top. Now click on the button “Sail”. If you haven’t hired a crew yet, you will automatically get the weakest crew. Now you are at least at sea: ![]() But what exactly do you see there? Here comes the explanation:
![]() The 1 in this picture shows your crew’s condition. Your crew can be met in 5 of them:
There are two possibilities how to move the ship:
![]() Now that we can move, let’s get to know something about attacking other ships. First you have to know two things:
But mind the blind areas of your ship! You can only attack enemies that are in the dark blue areas around your ship. These areas can be seen on this picture. ![]() In addition tot hat you can also use special weapons. To use them, click the space bar another time. Using the special weapons will consume your EN. As long as you are using the fighing mode, you can switch between the normal and the special weapon by clicking the space bar. Press R to leave the fighting mode. Tip: As long as you have a skill on standby in the sea-mode, you cannot use potions. Having used the skill you can again use your potions. Now you know how to fight. But what do you know about the strengths and weaknesses of your ship? As already mentioned there are 5 kinds of ships. ![]() These are the details: Amored Ship
You can choose between several skills. Some are for your defense and some are skills to attack. ![]() You should know that you can contract your skillpoints once! The chosen skills will then apply for all the ships you will have! So think twice before you decide. Now let’s talk about the types of opponents you will find. There are 3 kinds of enemies: Close combat enemies: These monsters will attack you, if you come to close or attack them yourself. They are good for quick leveling, fort hey cannot attack you until they reached your ship. Long-distance combat enemies: These opponents are the most common ones. They can only fire normal cannon balls and some are similar to the ship types I mentioned. It is important to hit them at the right place to cause the maximal damage. Long-distance combat fighter with steerable missiles: You will get in contact with some of these now and then. Their weapons are: magic, horns, fireballs etc. and they will always hit you! No matter what you try, it won’t work. The only opportunity you have is either using an Assult/Mainenance ship and leave their grasp, or you have to defeat them as fast as possible. ![]() Now you know the monsters you will meet on sea! Or maybe you don’t? Something is still missing: the Sea Bosses These monsters can also be separated into the 3 mentioned types, but you should note that they can call other monsters to help them. ![]() Another thing you should know is that your ship can get damaged when you are under attack. You cannot heal this damage with potions! So if you don’t want to sink, you should sail to one of the Save Ships on the Ocean! ![]() These ships won’t defend you or bring you to the next harbor, but they repair your ship, sell food for your crew and cannon balls. With their help you will surely reach the next harbor! And that leads us to the question that occures in every old salt’s head once: How can I return to the shore? As soon as you have reached the harbor, your cursor will become a grey anchor. Click on the harbor and you’re back at your pier and back on shore. Now you can relax a bit while your ship is waiting for your return. Perhaps you can even level for 100 days on the sea in a stretch. ![]() |
