The Florensia Staff would like to present you the preview for the upcoming balancing update. We are currently planning to add this first part of the balancing update on Tuesday, September 9 during an extended maintenance. Please read our preview carefully to be prepared for the upcoming changes. A second and third part of the balancing update will follow.

As already mentioned, the balancing update will be split into three parts.
  • The first part will probably be patched on Tuesday, September 9
  • The second part will probably be patched on Tuesday, September 23
  • The third part will probably be patched on Tuesday, October 7

Please note that if there are problems with the patches on the announced patch days, the patching processes will be rescheduled and the patches will be added on Thursdays in the same weeks.

Also, this preview is not complete and does not include all details about the changes. We would like to invite you, the players, to find out more about the changes yourselves and to explore the world of Florensia anew.

Contents of the first part of the balancing update

A new island has been discovered! Chester Island, designed for level 60-80, is ready for exploration. Having been separated from the rest of the world for a long time, the people in the city Cherry Town have become very sensitive regarding security matters. Lord Briant, once a smart and bright leader, is has grown old and... strange...

  • New island: Chester Island
  • New town: Cherry Town including 15 NPCs and new items
  • New field: Rainbow Highland including 14 new monsters
Detailed information about the new history of the new island, town and field will be added to the Game Data section after the patch on Tuesday.

Adjustment of the monster levels and locations

Some of the monsters on all islands have moved and grown regarding their levels. All quest texts related to monster levels and locations should be adjusted. To find the perfect leveling spot, you should take a look at the following overview:
  • Cardiff Island: lvl 1~20
  • Magnel Island: lvl 21~40
  • Exeter Island: lvl 41~60
  • Chester Island: lvl 61~80
The items sold on the four islands have also been adjusted according to the new level ranges. There might even be some more items now up for sale than before.

Adjustment of the looting tables for monsters
  • Boss and named monsters will now drop accessories at a very high chance. Each boss monster will drop different accessory types (necklace, ring, earrings) of different rarities (normal, grand, rare)
  • The accessories' status values are currently basic ones, but with the upcoming sealed items system, they will probably become a lot more useful in the end (please note that the sealed items system will not be added on Tuesday, September 9)
  • Some samples for accessories - be among the first to get these valuable items:
    • Lanoir's Claw Necklace
    • Draug Brenin's Snake Shape Earring
    • Vampire Lord Jeffrey's Seal Ring
    • Callandra's Earring
    • Little Rose's Ring
  • The loot and Gelt reward tables have been modified and adjusted according to the monsters' levels. For example, instead of potions and bullets, boss and named monsters will now drop accessories at a very high chance. Low-level monsters will now drop significantly more money.
New items: Emergency Potions

Some monsters, for example those in the Sea of Bones and in the Black Dragon Hideout will now drop the emergency series potions. There are 27 different potions in total that can be reused more often than standard potions. Some examples:
  • Minor / Low- / Middle-grade Emergency Ointment
  • Small- / Middle- / Large-sized Emergency HP Potion
  • Low- / Middle- / High-grade Emergency Repair Kit
  • Minor / Low- / Middle-grade Emergency Herbs
  • Small- / Middle- / Large-sized Emergency MP Potion
New quests: 110 Scroll Quests!

While hunting monsters, you will from now on find one of in total 110 Scroll Quests. These quests are repeatable, restricted for different level ranges and the rewards are worth the ado.

Other quest system changes
  • All job-exclusive quests have been changed to common quests and can now be completed by all character classes, so there are up to three times more quests available for each class now! Solve them all and find out more about the histories of the playable classes
  • The quests available via the Quest Shells have not been adapted yet. You can still buy and complete these quests, but the reward, level and requirement changes will be added later on
  • The Holy Test (Class Change Quest) has been adjusted. Further information about the changes for this quest will be provided in the Game Data / Classes section after the patch on Tuesday
  • The levels of all quest-related NPCs and the levels of all quests have been changed according to the levels of the monsters in the areas
