Consumable Items
All items that can be consumed are basically called consumable items. Scrolls to strengthen your character, food for your ship crew, return stones, baits for fishing, items to enlarge your storage or repair kits for your ship are some examples.

Skill Books
In order to learn the various skills of your class, you need to buy the accordant skill books at the master of your job guild. Having read a skill book, you can add your skill points to the learned ability. Please read more about the skill books on the class pages in the Game Data section.

Items for upgrading
You can enhance the effects and the looks of your equipment and arms by upgrading them. As this is a very dangerous game of chance, special items are required for successfully upgrading your items. They are called upgrade stone, perfumed oil and help items. Please take a look at the item reinforcement page to find out more.

Items for crafting
It is possible to create various perfumed oils for upgrading your items. The recipes for these oils can be bought in town at the owner of the smithy who is also in charge for upgrading. You can create ten different oils with these recipes and Butterfly Fishes in the requested colors. The five colored Butterfly Fishes can be obtained by fishing. Quest Shells
To gain specific items, you can buy special Shells and perform the Shell Quests. In Roxbury, the owner of the trading post Jeremiah sells them. There are various different quests, such as hunting monsters, collecting items or fishing for special seafood. Shell Quests are restriced to certain level ranges (for example level 14~20), so you might sometimes need a few more players to complete the tasks. You can repeat the Shell Quests as often as you want, you just have to buy enough Shells.

Quest Items
Some of the quests will require collecting or delivering special quest items. Make sure you don't accidentially loose these items. Quest items do not drop with a chance of 100%. Sometimes it takes a few tries to gather them.

Common Loot
Most of the monsters will drop items when you kill them. While fishing, you will also find useless items. You can sell these items in town to earn some money. Most of the loot is worthless, but who knows what the stuff might be useful for in the future.
